New Rhodes journey from Bristol to Hackney in London has seen them release 4 singles – “I Wish I Was You”, “From the Beginning”, “The History of Britain” and the Top 40-bothering “You've Given Me Something That I Can't Give Back”, all of which received support from the likes of MTV2, The Amp, XFM, Radio 1, Radio 2, Virgin and the critics.

With new drummer Tim Desmond joining James Williams (Vocals and Guitar), Joe Gascoign (Guitar), and Jack Ashdown (Bass) the line up was complete for the long awaited release of debut album “Songs From The Lodge” in October 2006. The album recieved critical acclaim both in the UK and abroad, including winning Best Unsigned band award at the Vodafone Music awards. Since then the band have been busy working on new material for their second album which will be launched at 93 Feet East on 19th February.
