A prodigiously gifted Americana / Folk songwriter with an extraordinarily soulful voice, Winter Mountain has released two critically acclaimed albums and toured the world.

Born in deepest darkest Cornwall to musician parents, Joe Francis (WMs real name) joined his first band at 12 years old. Raised on a healthy diet of Beatles, Dylan, Neil Young, Springsteen, Led Zep and Joni Mitchell, his young mind set alight and his creativity erupted.

Since then he has recorded albums at Abbey Road and Sun Studios, appeared live on national radio, toured internationally and supported the likes of Seal, The Waterboys, Larkin Poe, Rosanne Cash, Patty Griffin, Paulo Nutini, Richard Thompson, Seth Lakeman, Ben Howard and many others.

With new music on the horizon, festivals and tours across Europe 2020 looks set to be a big year for Winter Mountain.
