Puddles Pity Party is back for a quick UK tour after last year’s sold-out run at Soho Theatre! He is only doing a few shows in the UK before he returns to the states to embark on an 80-date tour with Weird Al Yankovic. Fans can expect songs from his new album, along with several of his beloved classics.
Puddles was recently featured in Eric Idle’s touring show, singing a duet of “The Galaxy Song.” It’s their second time collaborating. The first was in 2022 when they performed a duet in Homeward Bound: A Grammy Salute to the Songs of Paul Simon filmed for CBS TV. 2022 also landed him the coveted John Lewis Holiday advert where his voice was featured in a cover of “All the Small Things” recorded with Postmodern Jukebox. Puddles was a quarter finalist on Season 12 of America’s Got Talent and appeared on the 2020 season of AGT The Champions. In 2024, he toured with Primus, enjoying stage time with the band on a cover of Ronnie James Dio’s “Holy Diver” that has since gone viral on YouTube.
A veritable “Pagliacci by way of Pee-Wee Herman and David Lynch” (The AJC), Puddles deftly combines melancholy with the absurd. His one-of-a-kind “textured voice laced with melancholy” (NY Times) has been hailed as “operatic” (Boston Globe) and his show both “life-affirming” (Herald Scotland) and “hysterically funny” (LA Weekly) with “crooning comparable to any Grammy winner” (Los Angeles Times).
“Once you hear him, you’ll surely fall in love…crooning comparable to any Grammy winner.”
– Los Angeles Times
“What a voice he has. Brilliant man. Love him.” – Eric Idle
“It seems like a parody. But when Puddles opens his mouth to sing, it’s beautiful. Operatic.”
– The Boston Globe
“Fantastically brilliant…originality at its best.” – Simon Cowell
“His special effect is a textured voice laced with melancholy…what makes him transcend the trope is his vulnerability.” – The New York Times
“Wow…a perfect powerful avant-garde art piece…Genius.” – Penn Jillette
“Clever and often hysterically funny… (Puddles) is ideally suited to songs popularized by belters old and new like Tom Jones, Sia and Celine Dion, all of which he performs with tear-jerking bravura…”
– L.A. Weekly
“Puddles Pity Party is the damndest thing…If I could sing like that, I’d never shut up.”
– Michael McKean
“I love you, Puddles.” – Jack Black
