GET READY for the triumphant return of (drumroll….) MERRY HELLOWEEN!!!
Like a good (bad?) vampire, werewolf or zombie mysteriously back from the dead, on Saturday 25th October, everyone’s favourite folk rock band MERRY HELL returns to St Helens’ best loved music venue The Citadel with their annual Merry Helloween show. Expect devilishly good songs, spooktacular musicianship, and singing so good it’ll send a shiver down your spine. Throw into the mix copious amounts of dancing and audience participation, and you’ve got yourself an experience that’ll haunt you (in a good way) all the way through to at least Christmas!
Merry Hell have made a name for themselves in recent years as one of the most energetic and entertaining bands on the UK folk festival circuit, with five critically acclaimed albums under their belts, including their latest offering Rising Of The Bold.
Founded on the ever-evolving folk tradition – music made by the people and shared by the people – though their hearts and souls are tuned to the songs which came before, Merry Hell bring us new words and music forged from their own experiences, from the lows and the loves of their lives.
