So… you want to know who Coldside are?

I could sit here all day and talk about how they started, born and raised in Wythenshawe, Manchester, the UKs biggest council estate. I could talk about all the places they have performed, Salford’s Lowery Centre, Virgin Megastores, Manchester Academy and the City of Manchester Stadium three times. I could even talk about how Coldside won the 2011 CitySound award, ran by Key103 and Manchester City, being dubbed Manchester’s Best Unsigned Act, not only performing in front of a capacity crowd of over 42,000 people but judged by top industry professionals like…

Gary Stein(Key103 Program Director) who had this to say about the boys,
“they truly have created a unique sound that sounds experimental as it does accessible, definitely destined for big things.”

Lee Morrison(Sony/RCA Records Regional Radio Promoter)
“…they stormed onto the stage in front of our judging panel that day and basically blew all the other acts away”

Alex James(In Demand Key103/Q Radio)
“Coldside performed in front of me and three other people in May 2011. They might as well have been performing to an arena… they are able to be themselves without compromise – evident in how they look and most importantly how they sound.”

None of that is important, what is important is the music.
Coldside have mastered their craft and then some. Gone are the days when a band has to be confined by genres and put into categories. Coldside have no genre and have no category and thats how they want it. They take their sound from so many styles in the world and infuse them with hard hitting bass lines, cutting edge lyrics and hooks that you wont be able to stop singing for a week. They combine music from Hip Hop, Dubstep, Pop, Rock, Indie and Soul to name but a few.

Coldside are not here to co-exist, Coldside are here to lay their mark on any genre they touch and change the way music is created and portrayed.
