Tour And New Single For Bitter Ruin

Bitter Ruin will release their new single, Trust, on September 26. The Brighton based duo, Georgia Train and Ben Richards, will be on the road in the month leading up to the release, playing a series of shows.

Bitter Ruin was formed in 2007 when Train and Richards met at music school. Their differing musical tastes helped to form the unique sound of the band, which they describe as ‘Contemporary Expressionism’

Described by others as Noir, Indie, Rock, Punk, Cabaret, Folk, Soul, Musical Theatre, Flamenco, Classical and so many more sub genres has helped Bitter Ruin pick up fans from the most unlikely of places. Whatever they might be called, Georgia Train has a big, passionate voice and Ben Richards adds to the emotion with some fine instrumentation.

Bitter Ruin released their debut album Hung, Drawn & Quartered in 2010, and are excellent live performers. They have toured with many acts, including The Dresden Dolls, The Tiger Lillies, Melissa Auf Der Maur, Meow Meow, Jason Webley and Sxip Shirey
