The Running -
The Running have what appears to be classic rock meets reggae potential. They also have the added bonus of having a lead who can do just what that title suggests. Leading the band he clearly understands that it does not mean shouting and screaming at the top of your voice to get attention. Mike Williams leads with ease and comfort. So says ‘Homegirl’ anyway. This can all change however with a very energetic ‘Right in Between’ and the suspicously titled ‘Body Rock.’

What is great is the sheer understanding of classical rock and being able to take it in a different direction. The Running have certainly got something worth running with. 'Evangelist Blues' is also worth mentioning as their slow number. It could also be their best as it beautifully undermines every note that has come before it. It is simplicity at its best.
