Beware of Darkness have been staking a claim to UK soil over the past few weeks with a series of live dates including support slots with the likes of Skunk Anansie and their very own packed-out headline performances. They’re set to continue on their UK journey with a stint supporting the one and only Smashing Pumpkins in July, amongst various European festival appearances. These dates include Wembley Arena on 22nd July.

The Los Angeles trio are set to release new single ‘Howl’ on 6th May with its music video offering up a suitably visceral visual accompaniment. The track has already been picking up plays at the likes of XFM, Kerrang! Radio and Q Radio. Beware of Darkness are also preparing to release their full length debut album ‘Orthodox’ which will be out on 27th May via Bright Antenna Records.

This rocking, new power-trio made up of songwriter and guitarist, Kyle Nicolaides, drummer Tony Cupito, and bass general Daniel Curcio were weaned on a heady blend of The Beatles and Led Zeppelin to form the nucleus of what ‘Orthodox’ brings to your ears. Recorded entirely in two weeks at the Sound Factory and Valley Recorder in Hollywood, CA, executive produced and mixed by Dave Sardy (at his Hillside Recording Studio) and produced by Greg Gordon and Nicolaides, Beware of Darkness’ debut-full length will be the most fun you will have listening to a meditation on loss, girls, mothers and the implications of all three on the rest of us.
