INTRODUCING: Black Books

Austin dream-wavers Black Books are set to release their debut ‘Aquarena’ EP on Monday 11th February. The EP was streamed exclusively on The Line of Best Fit last week, with premieres for the music videos accompanying ‘Favourite Place’ and ‘The Big Idea’ appearing on Wonderland and US blogs My Old Kentucky and Austinist.

Black Books are a 5-piece from Austin, Texas who make a heady, atmospheric mix of dreamy, visionary pop and epic southern rock. Last year, they were hailed as “Top Ten Locals to Watch in 2011” - The Austin Chronicle and “No. 1 New Artist of 2011” - Indie Darkroom Magazine. Many influential US blogs followed , with many comparing Black Books to Grandaddy, My Morning Jacket, Band of Horses and to iconic Godfathers of subtle psychedelic rock, Pink Floyd.

On the 11th February Black Books release their 4-track debut ‘Aquarena’ EP. Black Book debut album plus UK live dates to follow in May.
